About Lighthouse Christian Counseling
Our History
Lighthouse Christian Counseling began in 2003 in Centreville, Maryland and quickly became the resource for Christian counseling in rural Eastern Shore, Maryland. LCC began expanding services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware, as the need for sound professional counseling became evident. In 2010, LCC decided to bring its roots back to the Eastern Shore, to serve the community and churches primarily in Queen Anne's County. While our in person office resides in Kent Island, our telehealth office serves all of Maryland and Virginia.
Our Mission
Lighthouse Christian Counseling exists to serve followers of Christ and the community at large by offering Christ-centered professional and clinically sound behavioral health counseling for individuals, couples and families in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere.
Our Approach
We take a holistic approach to counseling, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Our counselors are trained in a variety of evidence-based techniques and therapies to help our clients achieve optimal mental health. Therapies offered, but not limited to, include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Grief therapy, Sand tray therapy, Solution focused therapy, and behavioral therapy.
